About The Fractional Association

The Fractional Association is the international association for the fractional ownership of marine vessels, aircraft and vacation homes, representing syndicate owners, brokers and individuals with fractional assets in worldwide locations.

We are a trusted governing body for the fractional ownership marketplace, offering advice and guidance to members, syndicates, ancillary suppliers and legislators; as well as leading the fractional industry in supporting high service standards, working with our members on sharing best practice, and promoting high levels professionalism throughout the industry.

Our offer of supportprotection and expertise, means consumers can have confidence in the Fractional Association; and a strong trust in its members. These qualities are core to the Fractional Association as they ensure that the consumer remains confident in our members’ syndicates throughout the life cycle of their shareholding.

We are able to make this commitment by having our members abide by the Code of Conduct, which governs areas such as accurate advertising, fair terms of trading, syndicate agreements, operational procedures and managing customer communication and all issues that may arise during the term of their membership.

Our members manage fantastic assets for a wide cross section of individuals, but sometimes things don’t go to plan. If a consumer has an issue that they haven’t been able to resolve with one of our members, we’re here to try to help resolve it for them. If needed, they’ll get access to our fast, cost-effective and independent complaints resolution service which could save time, money and hassle for all concerned.

Being part of a syndicate with our members means consumers will be able to use a range of our advice services.

Once you’ve joined a syndicate you can relax knowing know that our Code of Conduct means that you can expect on-going high standards from our members. There are varying levels of membership, with greater degrees of commitment from our members. Those Membership Tiers include commitments to transparency and providing up to date financial and mechanical information on the maintenance of the asset.

We provide expert help and advice for syndicate shareholders. We work with the Authorities all over the world so we know what issues may impact on our members and their shareholders. It means we can provide expert advice to avoid a crisis.

We are also here to help consumers understand their rights and help meet and manage their expectations for possible resolutions.
